Announcing two new book discussion meetups

From: Emlyn C.

Hi everyone.

I would like to thank our 5 members who came to discuss "One-hundred Years of Solitude" today. It was a difficult book to discuss, but we had a great flow of ideas and analysis. I can only hope that our future discussions are as engaging. smile

I would like to invite everyone to our next two book discussions- now available on our group page. Our May selection is Ann Radcliffe's "The Mysteries of Udolpho". If you would like to explore the Gothic novel even more thoroughly, then you may also read Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey", which we will be discussing as a secondary selection. The fun will be happening on Sunday, May 17th at 3 pm.

Our June selection, and the winner of our online poll, is DH Lawrence's "Lady Chatterley's Lover". We will be discussing it on Sunday, June 14th at 3 pm. Additionally, I may schedule supplemental book discussions. The selections for these discussions will not be democratically selected, but they will be from our list of 1001. If I do schedule these supplemental meetups, I will send an email out to the group announcing each new event.

Meanwhile, don't forget to vote for our July selection in our online poll and to check out our message boards, where I will be accepting nominations for our August selection!

Hope to see you all next month!
