How long have you enjoyed photography? What got you into it?

If "appreciated" counts as "enjoyment" then I have been an avid photography lover for most of my conscious life. I have always had a love for art, photography included, but it wasn't until about a year ago that I actually took an interest in the specialty of photos.

What kind of camera do you use, and what is your favorite lens?

Tequilla, my camera, is a Canon Rebel Xs. I only have the 18-55mm lens that she came with. And I'm okay with that.

What type of photography do you most enjoy (e.g. portraiture, landscape, macro, street photography, nature, candid, etc.)?

I tend to do a lot of portraiture, although I really enjoy cliche macro plant shots. I have yet to try my hand in landscape or fantastical/unrealistic photography.

How would you like to improve your photography? What are your goals?

I would like to know what I'm doing instead of just knowing that I love it. I understand most fundamentals behind the camera and how to use it, but besides that, I'm screwed. I can't use Photoshop and RAW files scare me and I need a lot of work on aperture/f-stop. I would like to get used to depth of field enough to the point where I can create a pleasant bokeh.

How did you hear about our group?

Facebook. Isn't that the answer to everything in my generation?

I'm Jo. I'm a little too young and naive to really be able to give a proper introduction as to the sort of person I am or will be.
