Sunday afternoon friendly pickup

Please bring a $5 donation to CCF and two shirts, one light and one dark. Shinguards are recommended but not required.

This is friendly co-ed pickup on hard surface indoor gym.

No slide tackles, no hacking. Kids welcome if they can stay out from under our taller players.

The gym is actually open now if anybody wants to start heading that way

Not sure because of the 8am pickup that happens on Sundays, but we may have enough people to have an additional pickup match (outdoor) running on Sundays (we're up to nearly 1,000 members now, wow!). Reach out to me or any of the organizers to suggest a place/time, or reach out to Dave if you'd like to get your hands on the controls :)

Neither did I! Sorry if the idea of paying to play is offensive. This is something we've done with some success in the past- the church gets a small token of thank you (even if everybody gave $5, that doesn't amount to much) and we have a great time. There are always folks who are more generous as well as folks who don't donate. I get the idea (and support, and help set up) free pickup games that are open to all. But I will also always be on the side of generously showing appreciation for the people and organizations that help keep the games going.

Just want to be clear that there's no negative vibe intended on my part, since it can be hard to figure out somebody's tone based on text- and it doesn't help that I'm sending lots of typos from my phone.

Hey peeps- no, a donation isn't required but is a nice gesture given that a facility that ordinarily isn't available to us is going to be opened and freely shared by an organization that owes us nothing. Please feel free to opt out of you really believe that a$5 donation is unfair, crazy, or whatever.

Thanks, Rebecca! Just wasn't sure if the location had changed due to no fields being open. Always nice to have somewhere to play!

Also, if you would like to help out by pitching in to organize, please reach out to Dave Puth. You could pitch in be establishing additional games and play times that will benefit us all.

No more turf games? Only 10 people can play at a time on the basketball court?
