I thought I had found the last job I would ever hold, but it only lasted until new management came in and took away my dream of working to retirement there. I've decided that the only way I can control my future is if I take the lead on it, and working for myself has to be a part of that plan.
I'm looking to meet other business owners in our town, network with them, learn from them, and eventually learn enough that I can share what I know with others.
I have 14 years of systems administration, network engineering and IT management experience, and I'm excited about the opportunity to share my knowledge and help other local business owners solve their technology-related challenges.
My primary focus right now is starting up a small business IT consulting firm. In addition to that, wife and I own/operate a small farm that sells fresh eggs, and I also own the Frozen Banana concession at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.
I am the founder of Fischer IT Solutions - our mission is to provide Annapolis area small businesses with a top quality and cost effective alternative to the "Do it yourself" model of IT support.
Nice group of people, with a good mix of backgrounds and experience.
