Why do you want to join this Merry Band?

I have never been in a writers group and I figured you might need my help. Seriously, though, I have been working this project for 6 months, 6 long, wonderful, excrutiating months. During this time, I've experienced life changes that have affected my ability to tell this story effectively. I need help.
