What we're about

In a world consumed by noise and confusion we aim to bring out your own self-leadership to lead the life you deserve by offering opportunities for that ‘time-out’ and stillness to move beyond the choppy waves of the ocean to the calmness underneath the surface. Through a variety of methods from hypnotherapy and NLP techniques to meditation to sound healing (https://www.facebook.com/events/1636064636414577/) to yogic philosophy and practice we aim to bring balance and rejuvenation, dispelling anxiety and demotivation. We also run monthly mindfulness (https://www.facebook.com/events/157880604812757/) sessions with a difference; combining practical tips and techniques for anxiety relief in the talking part 1 along with meditation to finish with and run longer sessions as retreats (http://www.inspireandrewire.com/retreats) ranging from a day in duration to 5 days in the UK and overseas. If you would like to try out our style you can find sessions on our youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq2fWs4uEKcGMxxvtawhUjA/videos) or try our weekly yoga classes. Just get in touch or check out our website www.inspireandrewire.com

Inspire & Rewire’s slogan is ‘You are what you are looking for’ because we believe that to live a more peaceful life listening to yourself is key; with that awareness you can make new choices. These choices can be subtle in terms of how you think, and consequently how you feel, which leads to more visible changes such as behaviour and how you choose to live out your life.

From being a burned out exec in a global corporation, to the shackles of guilt from unconditional love of being a parent, to experiencing traumatic events we have found ways in which to cope with short and long term to bring that peace back and maintain it in stressful situations whatever comes your way.

Monthly Mindfulness for Anxiety - Toxic Friendships

Beehive Healthcare

Based on my background and training in mindfulness as well as my own experiences of anxiety, stress and burnout in a personal and professional context, I have come across various methods and practical techniques that aid anxiety and stress relief that takes mindfulness into a more practical arena. While still practicing mindfulness meditation at the end of each session, I focus most of the session on a theme each month. A different tool or technique is discussed in detail and then practiced. The sessions are confidential and no one's ever asked to share anything but participants are welcome to speak up at any time should you feel it useful to themselves or others. You can join in the discussion or simply observe with no obligation. Sessions are monthly on Saturday’s 11-12:30pm (£10) Darkness dissolves when we shine lightness onto it. Once we allow ourselves to see and accept all of ourselves (light and dark) the heaviness is lifted and we begin to feel more compassionate to ourselves and to others. This all starts by understanding our subconscious and befriending our past to focus on the now and future. The sessions give you a taster of a certain tool or technique which you can explore further at home or even deeper on a one to one with myself or another professional that I recommend that specialises in what you are looking for. Some techniques will resonate with you and others not as much, it's all about trial and error and finding what suits you and which circumstances. This is why I feel mindfulness is more about self-awareness and getting to know yourself. And why I take the philosophy of ‘being in the now’ to the next level…. The How? Because everyone is different... THIS MONTH THEME: I wrote a blog about this, which I will refer to in this month's workshop, as it's something that I have come up against, and with awareness, I was able to spot patterns and make some tough choices. It doesn't always have to be extreme or dramatic, once you get to know what's right for you - you can make the choices and decide how it's going to go. Like anything, it's about balance. We may have heard the phrase 'if we surround ourselves with positive people, we too will be positive', and this is a great tip, and definitely something to work towards. However, in this case, we are also relying on other people to make us happy, or potentially missing out on an internal shift and personal growth. Relationships of all kind are complex. What we must try to do is weigh up the benefits, versus the negative impact. Or even begin to become aware that there may be a negative impact, and if we are brave to acknowledge that. Change is scary, the familiar feels safer, even when it possibly isn't. And where there is a danger, whether physical or psychological, we need to pause and reflect on our lives and our choices. It all starts within, so we first need to check that there's nothing that needs tweaking or adjusting inside, as to how we see the world. The people in our lives are reflections of how we see ourselves and our worth. Sometimes, a decision is required to end a friendship or relationship, and other times, they are there to challenge parts of ourselves that need to grow. **Please note that this is not in replacement of any therapeutic treatment from a doctor or face to face therapist. Please always seek advice. Student’s responsibility – Meditation is a safe and effective stress management tool. However, please seek advice from your GP if you have suffered or do suffer from epilepsy, severe depression, schizophrenia, severe anxiety, or psychosis or are on medication, or under supervision by the mental health team. Full Moon Sound Healing

Oddfellows Hall, Saltney

£9.00

Sound is incredibly impactful on the mind, soul and body. This is why we enjoy certain music whether the lyrics resonate, or the beats. This is also why in yoga we chant the mantra 'OM' or 'AUM' each part of the word resonates with different parts of the body. This frequency of 432 hz is what is found in all of nature and is why it can have a healing effect. Singing bowls and other instruments have also been used for healing purposes, moving energy around and stabilising, cleansing. We are energetic beings. We experience the three R's during sound healing: resonance, resistance and release. Some bowls will feel harmonic and resonate well and some you may find irritating or uncomfortable, both lead the he 3rd 'r' - 'release'. This can be on a physical, emotional/ soul or mind level. Sometimes we want to know the What's and the why's and work things out and when necessary this is useful and sometimes we don't need the detail. Just accept the healing that is required for you at the time. Every month is different based on what you are experiencing in life, the moon energy, your body and the theme at the time - such as the number of people etc. We begin as individuals and then our collective energy combines to raise our vibrations higher and we leave feeling lighter. Sometimes we may feel uncomfortable or distracted and this is also just part of moving through the healing. Feel free to come and talk to me after if you want to talk it out. Likewise at times we may experience intense dreams too. This might be due to issues coming to the surface. Simply de-code your dreams and feel free to email me any time to help you unravel the message you are giving yourself. Each time we will start with a mantra. Mantra means 'think free'. A mantra can be anything such as 'I am peace' or "I am love' , or any other affirmation. We will chant the Hindu traditional mantras but are also welcome to suggestions of any others that you may have and want to chant together in a group. Remember, although they might feel different or awkward at first, all it is is using your voice in a different way - it's just another way of singing and it makes us feel good, and clears the mind. It's optional to join in but why not give it a go? Sometimes we chant with the mala beads which are used to count 108 times (sometimes there are 54 or 216). The meaning of this can be found here: Meaning of 108 times: https://www.malacollective.com/ (https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.malacollective.com%2F&h=ATMX32pCvSZoBmEXTV3p0rwhv0Gxf6kkjBIh9pH3OyPPheS72sBOKmpH44-MQRsiL5CyLYjyCWFHrQhq32UIxR-Mm9_1CJKUjNcdV7Z_zfBljPvVM2e-K9i2PZdy3y9Rz558Qln5ZA3HP5QPz8YKEwmNFGDibN7E1-4&s=1) …/[masked]-why-are-there-108… Generally speaking the session is calm, cosy, and safe. It's a place to just chill and lay down and listen to the beautiful sounds. A healing. Bring a mat, pillow and a blanket for extra comfort. I do have some spare but please ask prior to coming if you require one. DOORS OPEN at 7:15pm and close at 7:30pm to allow time for your to settle in and get your spot and therefore optimum time for our session. We spend the first 10 mins or so chanting, followed by around 30-35 mins sound healing and then 10-15 minutes sharing and questions (optional participation). Sessions are £9 including herbal tea at the end
