Show starts at 8p. Happy Hour is from 4p - 7p. Let's meet at 6p for Happy Hour meet and greet, last call is at 6:50p :) and hang out for the show at 8p. This is a VERY small venue (sits maybe 50) and it is highly recommended that you buy your tickets before the show. I will not reserve a seat for you unless you have pre-purchased your ticket due to the limited seating.
NOTE: There is a 2 item minimum purchase when attending shows which will ensure that we can keep bringing you great music.
The TeaZone was opened by Jhanne Jasmine and Grant Cull in 1999 with the goal of giving people a chance to sample from amazing tea from all around the world.
The TeaZone offers a perfect combination of high-quality teas (http://www.teazone.com/tea-menu/), savory light meals and desserts and a cozy Pacific Northwest ambiance. We stock over 100 loose-leaf teas from all over the globe including rare Oolongs and Darjeelings to locally produced herbal blends. We brew and serve tea in the shop and we offer loose-leaf tea for sale. We also have a selection of unique and fanciful tea-brewing equipment to suit every taste. The TeaZone offers the best bubble tea in Portland as a creative selection of tea lattes.
Our menu features a number of lunch and brunch items served with a gourmet side salad. On any given day, we have quiche, Italian-style grilled panini sandwiches, soups, salads, vegetable samosas, and chicken pasties. In addition there is a pastry case teeming with authentic English-style scones (many people comment that they are the best they've ever had), delectable desserts, and tea cookies. We offer a wonderful Sunday Brunch (http://www.teazone.com/sunday-brunch/) (that also includes coffee) and a great Happy Hour daily 4 to 7pm with discounts on food items as well as drinks. The cocktail menu features an exotic list of tea-infused cocktails, craft-beer, sake, and wines from the Pacific Northwest.
The Camellia Lounge has live music (http://www.teazone.com/live-music/) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings ranging from jazz, folk, blues to singer song writers. The lounge offers the musicians and audience an intimate and sultry setting--a perfect environment for a special date or to catch some jazz greats up close and personal.
New York-based pianist Caili O'Doherty is back in her hometown Portland for a short northwest tour with her band. The Caili O'Doherty Group has performed at the Toronto Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Panama Jazz Festival, and recently at the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. Caili will be joined by bassist Aaron Liao from Seattle, WA and drummer Cory Cox from Houston, TX. This is a show you don't want to miss!
