Join us for a 30-mile scenic ride along the Columbia Trail, an abandoned RR bed. Trail surface is crushed stone and flat. Enjoy some excellent views of Ken Lockwood Gorge and beautiful farmlands. We will 'mix it up' and start in Long Valley and begin our ride on the newly up-graded trail to Bartley Road and back to LV. We will then bike to High Bridge and return. Keep your eyes peeled for the TROLLS. There are no concessions along the route; bring snacks, lunch, water, patch kit/extra tube, and a hybrid/mountain bike. Helmet is mandatory! Rain cancels. Meet at 10:00am. Trail parking is directly across the road from Somerset Hills Bank, 24 Schooley's Mountain Road, Long Valley [GPS coordinates for the parking lot: N[masked]; W[masked]] Above Photo by Shawn Patel
If lot is full, there is additional parking adjacent to the bank's parking lot.
Optional after-hike refreshment stop at local eatery.
