The Appalachian Mountain Club - Delaware Valley Chapter is offering an Open House event (aka New Members Social) at the Peace Valley Nature Center on Saturday, March 8, 2013. The event will be proceeded by a short hike at 1:00 PM.

If you're new to the AMC, or if you've been a member but have been a little hesitant to participate, this is a good opportunity to meet like-minded people and learn about the AMC and the Delaware Valley Chapter. The social program starts at 2:00 PM and there will be a short video that explains details about our club and our activities. Activity chairs will be on hand to answer your individual questions as well. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

The event will be cancelled in case of the bad weather or uncontrolled circumstances. Please check this site for status and updates.
