Please join us for our monthly weekend workout hike in the historic V.F. NP on Saturday February 22nd @ 9.30 am at the Washington's Headquarters parking lot (GPS:[masked], [masked]) by the intersection of Route 23 and Route 252. We have approval from VFNP to park at Washington's HQ. As always, this hike will be about 11-12 miles in length. This hike is not intended to be a leisurely stroll, be prepared for a good workout! This hike could have a large group depending on the weather. Sturdy shoes, water, layers, rain gear, and snacks. Optional post-hike lunch stop. Well behaved pets on a leash allowed. Hello everyone, I was not able to attend the hike due to a family emergency. My apologies for not showing after I RSVP'd that I would attend. The pics look great and I'm glad you had good hike!

People, thank you so very much for joining the VF Monthly Workout hike. The weather was simply perfect with temperatures in upper 50s and sunny skies the whole day! This was probably the toughest hike I have done in Valley Forge. We did our ENTIRE regular route on a snow-covered trail! It took us an extra hour and many more stops to do it and our average moving speed collapsed to 3.0/mph. We did 12.1 miles and 1795 feet of total up elevation. In my eternal wisdom, I carried my full pack and was regretting it at the end! We had 20 participants and 18 finished the entire hike including the torturous snow trudge uphill on Wolfinger near the end! My thanks to John R for sweeping and to Robin and Dan for their help. We had six people at VF Pizza – good times. See you all on a future hike. - Bijal

Bijal, Thanks for posting the group picture. Is it possible to save the group photo somehow? I thought there would be an option to save the photo but I do not see it. Thanks. Pheng
