Our next, and maybe the last for the season, ski day is at Blue Mountain on March 6th! We are expecting a cold day with clouds and sun with a high of 23 in Palmerton.
Weekday skiing offers short or no lift lines and no crowds. We meet at the upper lodge where you enter the ski slopes at 8:30 AM to catch first tracks down the mountain. Later arrivals can contact us by cell phone. With no waiting to get back on the lift, we usually ski until we are too tired. That may be anytime in the afternoon. But you may stay as long as you like.
NOTE: As an AMC activity, downhill skiing is considered a social activity. This is because we will be at a place of public accommodation. There is no AMC release of liability sheet to sign. Your liability release wavier is your lift ticket. As a social activity the AMC assumes no liability for the risks associated with this activity and participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety while skiing.
