  • Come party with us at our Chapter Annual Meeting! Dinner with cocktail hour (cash bar) starts at 4:30 p.m. Deadline for registration is December 30th, but you are strongly encouraged to register early as places may become filled. $50 includes tip. Full refund if cancellation received prior to December 30th. You may register for the event by clicking here. A detailed flyer with the meeting program, walks, and other information will be emailed to all registrants about a week beforehand. The meeting will include the election of our Executive Committee, recognition of our 25 and 50 year members, presentation of Appie of the Year and Chapter Awards, and a raffle.

We are very excited to have a post-meeting presentation of the history of Harriman Camps conducted by Sue Scher, who has previously curated a show commemorating the 100 year anniversary of Harriman Camps at the Rockland County Museum. Sue is Professor of Social Work Emeritus of Ramapo College of New Jersey, and a resident of Sterling Forest, Tuxedo NY where she has been active in environmental protection. Coming from a long background in resident camping, she has been researching the history of the children's and family camps in Harriman State Park for fifteen years. She has been observing the development of the Harriman AMC camp since it was first initiated and pleased to see it open.

In the afternoon, there will be a choice of walks with details forthcoming. Questions? Contact [masked]
