What we're about

Hello Ladies!

I'm hoping to attract some women in or near Aptos because that's where I am! I'm not into having meetups downtown Santa Cruz due to traffic and parking issues so would like to reach out to ladies in my area who can get together for coffee or other beverage, fun lunches/dinners, walks down at Seacliff State Park Beach, maybe a movie, a pot luck, whatever we can come up with. Would like to try to keep members more indigenous to Aptos and nearby surrounding area for convenience safe. Plus right now it's too dark too early to be walking around and finding parking downtown S.C. Of course this doesn't mean we can't go out of town on occasion.

I get along with women of all ages but I think 50 and up would work best for who I am. You can be married or single, it doesn't really matter. I'm looking to build a group that can provide support and socialization for women over 50. Preferably women who are not tied down to a tight schedule because of young children in the home. Especially interested in creative women with a fantastic sense of humor. No humor, don't join! If you take yourself too seriously it's just not going to work!

Besides humor, my loves are movies, music, creating art, family, walks, organic foods, quality restaurants and the ocean to name a few. As far as interests--science, science fiction, religions, the supernatural, the ancient alien theory, legal/court matters and advocacy for the elderly, disabled and veterans to name some. As far as actual experience--journalism, advertising, sales, art exhibiting, marketing, investigation of legal corruption, succeeding in fighting a corrupt legal system, Native American powwows and culture and a few other things. I like to avoid conversations about politics because that is just to volatile currently!

Look forward to hearing from you.
