What do you hope to learn/offer to this group?

I hope this becomes an open forum for writers to learn and grow from each other. Getting and giving honest critique is essential in the writing process.

Are you writing a memoir now or planning to?

Yes, I just began a memoir and I'm looking to build a group of writers to work with, learn with, and grow alongside.

What is your favorite memoir that you've read recently and why?

I recently read "The Sound of the Wild Snail Eating," by Elisabeth Tova Bailey, and "Hold Me Close, Let Me Go," by Adair Lara. Both were inspiring.

I am a professional editor specializing in non-fiction/business books. I am a former reporter/magazine editor. I am delving into a memoir now and realize that finding a community of writers is essential in the process.
