This group is new grass-roots group, with the goal of getting women together to do things outdoors. There are lots of education forums throughout the state for people to learn how to do things, now you want to meet up with like-minded women and go try it out.

The goal of this group is to reach out to the women through-out Alaska to get them together. If you want to go hiking, biking, skiing, snow-machining, four-wheeling, camping, ice skating, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, shooting, you name it (almost), it's just to get women doing something outside, off-the-couch and meeting people.

If you want to learn how to clean your fish, identify berries and trees, hopefully someone will join and lead a group of ladies interested. We are here to enhance and create a large group of like-minded, women wanting to help, teach and hang-out with others.

This group will help link people together to encourage safe practice of fun outdoor activities. This means, creating trip plans, packing for the conditions and environment, going together in groups, knowing first aid, and many more other safe practices.
