4th Oct - Day 1 – Arrive Antananarivo
Upon arrival, hotel transfer (city centre).

Day 2 – Antananarivo / Andasibe
After breakfast, journey to Andasibe, stopping on the way at Peyrieras Nature Farm. Stop for lunch in Moramanga. Continue to our hotel. (Driving time: 145km – 4 hours)

Day 3 – Andasibe / Analamzaotra & Vakona Park
After breakfast, visit Analamzaotra Special Reserve, home to the largest living lemur. After lunch, you can take a canoe to discover lemur’s island.

Day 4 – Andasibe / Antsirabe
After breakfast, drive back to Antananarivo and continue towards Antsirabe. Learn about daily highland life and meet people in typical villages. Stop in Ambatolampy to visit a local craftsmen’s workshop. Arrive in Antsirabe and get a city tour. (Driving time: 170km – 5 hours)

Day 5 – Antsirabe
Full day tour of the thermal city and crater lakes of Antsirabe. After breakfast, drive to Andraikiba Lake. Continue by car to Tritriva Lake. Drive back to Antsirabe and visit the city by rickshaw.

Day 6 – Antsirabe / Ambositra / Ranomafana
After breakfast, visit Antsirabe’s Gem Shop. Drive to Ambositra. Continue to Ranomafana via Ambohimahasoa. Arrive at hotel in the evening. (Drive time: 8 hours).

Day 7 – Ranomafana / Fianarantsoa
After breakfast, visit National Park of Ranamafana. Continue journey to Fianarantsoa, where you will spend the night. (Drive time: 2 hours).

Day 8 – Fianarantsoa / Ambalavao / Ranohira
After breakfast, city tour by car up to the ‘old city’. Drive to Ambalavao. Stop at Anja Community Reserve to spot the ring-tailed lemur. Continue over the wide Horombe grassland plains towards Ranohira. (Drive time: 4 hours).

Day 9 – Ranohira / Isalo National Park
Journey to Isalo National Park in Ranohira. Walk up to the natural swimming pool (90-mins) through the Tapia Forest. Opportunity to swim in the pool or continue to Namaza site or head back to hotel. Afternoon spent at your leisure.

Day 10 – Ranohira / Toliara / Ifaty
After breakfast, drive to Toliara through villages of sapphire mines and the southern savannah. Stopping in Toliara for lunch, continue journey to Ifaty’s Fisherman Village and hotel check-in. (Drive time: 6 hours).

Day 11 – Ifaty / Baobab Forest
After breakfast, enjoy a walk along the Baobab Forest. Afternoon spent at your leisure. Dinner at the foot of the giant baobab in the Reniala Forest.

Day 12 – Ifaty
Spent at your leisure in Ifaty. Option to visit the coral reef.

Day 13 – Ifaty / Toliara / Antananarivo
After breakfast, free time before transfer to Toliara Airport for flights to Antananarivo.

17th Oct - Day 14 – Depart Antananarivo
After breakfast, and if you have time before your flight departure, we can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ambohimanga King Palace. Transfer to the airport for international flights home.
