Security Deposit: We charge a $10 security deposit for certain events that require an upfront payment. If you show up for the event, we will refund you the money.
Event Charge: Charges for an event would vary depending on the event, please check individual events for details or contact the organizers.
No shows: If you RSVP 'yes' and do not show up for an event, i.e. if you fail to update the RSVP at least 72 hrs ahead of the event, you will be listed as 'no-show'. Last minute RSVP change is not acceptable. Two no shows will automatically remove you from the group, without the possibility to rejoin the group. You are welcome to bring friends along but you need to include them in the RSVP - please note that you may be listed as no-show if one or more people accompanying you do not show up. Event host is responsible for taking attendance.
Uninvited Guests: We have zero tolerance for folks who show up uninvited. You will be automatically removed from the group, without the possibility to rejoining the group.
Social Behavior: If you are disrespectful to any group member, you will be automatically removed from the group without a warning. Please be courteous to others and respect others privacy. Do not send private messages to people you do not know. You may report misconducts directly to the organizers.
Identity: A profile picture with your face clearly visible and your first name are mandatory for membership approval. If you do not have a profile picture, your membership will not be approved. If you remove your profile picture after your membership is approved, you will be immediately removed from the group without prior notice.
Activity: We encourage you to actively participate in group activities. You may even host an event if you want to, and we would like that. However, if you remain inactive for more than a year, which is indicative of your lack of interest in the group, you will be automatically removed from the group. We audit the group every month.
Suggesting a meet-up event: Did you know that any member of the group can suggest a meet-up? If enough people show interest, the meet-up will be announced to all members. While we encourage you suggest meet-up's, please allow at least two weeks for people to respond. We encourage you to avoid suggesting repetitive meet-ups if enough people do not show interest the first couple of times. If you need to suggest multiple meet-ups, please spread them out over several weeks.
Meet-up Schedule: Meet-up schedule and, or location may change, we expect the event hosts to notify members in advance but it is advisable to keep notifications turned-on on your app.
Feedback: Send your suggestions and feedback to the leadership team so we can continue to improve and do better.
