Yes I am a member. I heard about AMC while researching climbing clubs in arizona. I work at Phoenix Rock Gym so I first heard about it from picking up the Arizona Mountaineer.
I would say I am intermediate. I climb 5.10s/11s toprope. I can lead 5.9s and below. I have followed trad. I own draws, personal anchor, prussiks, ATC, helmet, webbing, 70m rope, rap racks, biners, and everything needed for AMC anchors school.
Queen Creek, Jacks Canyon, The Mace in Sedona, Camelback Mountain, PRG. I would like to climb: Baboquivari, The Pit, Red Rocks, Yosemite (someday), Cochise, Iso Canyon, basically anywhere outdoors, or trad.
I am very interested in the Anchors School, and possibly the lead school. However, I know how to lead and lead belay and have led a few times before.
Yes, when I get more experience I would love to.
I am 19, have been climbing since the start of this year. I joined AMC to learn more about climbing and to meet more climbers, and be a part of another community of climbers. I love any climbing, indoor or outdoor.
