Are you currently a member of the AMC? How did you hear about the AMC?

yes. ancient history so I can't remember how I heard about it. I think I've been a member since 1996?

What is your level of climbing expertise? (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced) What sort of gear do you own?

Intermediate harness/shoes/helmet/rope/webbing/biners/etc. a string of rocks and hexes; a small assortment of friends, tri-cams

Where have you climbed before? Where would you like to climb?

Pinnacle Peak (Cactus Flower, Y crack), The Hand, Monk, Prescott area for lead climbing class, Flagstaff (off Schultz road), Joshua Tree, Queen Creek clean ups climbs, GC clean ups climbs, McDowells (Sven Slab, etc.), Opium Den. Grand Canyon scrambling off route w/ & w/o pack during backpacking trips Ecuador - day hikes Chimborazo (to 16,00-17,000' of 20,---'), backpack Altares, summitted Cotopaxi in 2:4 attempts (19,334'). Future?: Alpine: summit Chimborazo? further international backpacking/peaks? Rock climbing: whereever there's an easy challenge [masked]) with fun people.

Have you ever taken a class for "Outdoor Rock Climbing" or are you interested in taking one?

Took and have assisted with Basics and Anchors multiple times in the remote past. Took lead class twice in the remote remote past and have only led a[masked]? which means I need to take it again. Took Glacier Travel and Cravasse Rescue.

Would you consider becoming an AMC outing leader?

I either don't have enough skills or I don't have enough confidence in my skills. I lean heavily toward the first answer. I set up a new climb for my friends once. We named it "3 hour anchor". Then nobody could climb it.... I like following.

Julie Dehlin I'm a mediocre climber, awesome backpacker, novice canyoneer, sporadic alpine climber. I adore the Grand Canyon and Ecuador! Attitude is EVERYTHING!!!
