Hi, I have been researching some hosting sites that are WordPress friendly.
However, I decided to ask the experts, ... You Guys.

Any ideas and suggestions?

Thanks so much in advance.

That's a loaded question. You're going to get a lot of different answers.

What are you hosting?
simple wordpress blog? personal or business?
Multi-site install? if so how many sites?
What sort of traffic are these going to get? 100 people a month or 250,000 a month or 10M a month?
ecommerce? need an ssl?
have/need a dedicated IP address?
hosting email there or you doing that with google/exchange?
how many files are you storing and of what type? aka... how much storage do you need?
do you want managed wordpress hosting? or you going to update it all and manage it yourself?
if yourself do you need a control panel for server control? cpanel or plesk?

I could go on. See my point? Let me/us know what you're wanting to host and I can give you the right answer.

For simple sites, small biz, no ssl type stuff... hostgator.com or inmotionhosting.com
Bigger sites, ssl maybe, go with a dedicated or vps, or ve... mediatemple.com, namecheap.com vps, softlayer.net etc
Managed hosting... page.ly or presstohost.com or wpengine.com

That should help... if not... be more specific and so will I :)

Chuck,

Thanks so much for your comments.
Yes, you're right, my question was pretty open ended.

To address your follow up:
1. Yes, it would need to host multple domains so VPS would be best.
2. These would be all Business domains
3. Traffic - 100 per month +
4. eCommerce is a possibility in the future but not in the immediate
5. ssl - Yes
6. No email - Google
7. Minimal storage

*Would prefer manage wordpress hosting

Thanks so much for your help.
