What we're about

The Crafting Group Where You Can Say, "Fuck!"

What: A crafting group for any craft, including but not limited to: knitting, crochet, cross stitching, drawing, painting, scrap booking, and up-cycling.

When: Weekly, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays. Usually in the late afternoon/early evening.

Where: We switch between bars around the Arlington area. At each meeting, we vote between two bars where we have not met previously. When we run out of bars that members are interested in, we'll vote on ones that we have been to before.

Who: This is a meetup for people of any gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, craft preference, or craft experience.

Why: To create an inclusive space for crafters to get together and share their experiences, stitch, bitch, and enjoy food and beverage at one of Arlington's fine establishments.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: What is a pronoun?

Answer: A pronoun is how you refer to someone when talking to someone else.

Examples: She, her, hers; He, him, his; They, their, theirs;

(There are a myriad of others, and we respect those as well.)

Question:Why did you ask for my pronouns when I requested to join the group?

Answer: Some people might look like one gender but identify as another. We can never assume what someone's pronouns are based on what they look like. To make sure that we are as inclusive as possible, we ask everyone, no matter what they look/sound like, to let us know their pronouns so that we can respect their identity.
