Why are you interested in Ruby?

Why shouldn't I be interested in Ruby? (WARNING: I respond to rhetorical questions with rhetorical answers—just sayin'.)

Introduction

I started learning computer programming with Ruby and Ruby on Rails in 2013. I graduated from Rails Girls Summer of Code 2013. Since then, I branched out into PHP, Javascript, F#, C# and Haskell and bootstrapped my own startup: Codecatenation, LLC.
