Aro Ling Cardiff is a group of practitioners of the Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist tradition, the Aro gTér Lineage. Vajrayana practice is concerned with transforming the experience of everyday being. In the Nyingma School, the yogic lineages are regarded as of equal value to the monastic approach, as each lead to spiritual awakening. For Westerners, with lives that include family responsibilities, work, and household commitments, the Vajrayana transformative approach of life as practice is exceptionally helpful. Vajrayana teachers are not monks or nuns, but ordained Tantrikas who live ordinary lives in an extraordinary manner. An important aspect of this approach is relationship – couples living in harmony, and raising children in a supportive, nourishing environment.
All sessions at Aro Ling Cardiff are led by ordained Vajrayana Buddhist teaching couples with many years of practice experience.
Aro Ling Cardiff offers a weekly meditation group, plus occasional one day retreats and other events.
The Vajrayana path is suited to those who appreciate humour and seek to use their everyday circumstances as the path to realisation. Aro gTér Lineage practitioners aim to engender natural gallantry and sincere determination, perceptive consideration and cheerful courage, creativity and spaciousness.
