Each year along with many different Greek delicacies, the Denver Greek Festival highlights the Greek love of song and dance. Live traditional Greek dancing by the Hellenic Dance Academy of Denver displays a variety of dances and costumes from all parts of Greece, and live music will be played by Etho Ellas. There is plenty of homemade food and pastries from throughout Greece. The cultural center, book store & gift shop will show original works of art. Tours will also be given of the church every other hour.
There is parking in the lower lot near the East Gate, and along the side streets off Alameda.
Meet at 12:45pm, at the courtyard on the East side of the community center, at the top of the stairs, just off Alameda. This is where the cooking demos take place. If you can't find it, ask any of the people working the festival where the courtyard is. Entrance is $5. Here is a link to a coupon for discounted admission: http://www.thegreekfestival.com/2-adult-admission
