Join us at the historic Uptown Theater for the rocking rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score, FOOTLOOSE is one of the most explosive musicals in recent memory! When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he isn't prepared for the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher.
FIND THE GROUP
Play starts at 8 pm, so let's meet in the lobby about 7:15 pm to visit with the group before the play. Be sure to check in with Dawn so we know you're there! Refreshments may be purchased from the concession stand. Typically they have snacks, sodas and wine. We'll meet again at intermission back in the lobby again!
Parking is free for this event in downtown Grand Prairie. The theater is about a block East of the Farmers Market. Park in the same area!
If you're grabbing dinner too, there's a Subway directly across from the theater and several Mexican restaurants on the same street.
Seats range from $11-$22. You can buy online or at the Box Office. I checked on Friday afternoon and there were plenty of seats (~100) available, so I'm getting mine when I get there. Even the $11 seats offer a great view - it's not a huge theater.
