Craft & Chat
Needs a date and time

The Craft Retreat

I am a cross stitcher and when I lived in Ohio we always had what we called stitch & bitches. Everyone would bring a snack and we'd spend the evening chatting and crafting and sharing what we were working on. It would be a great opportunity to get to know each other. Any crafter is welcome provided their craft is portable!!

Greeting cards
Needs a date and time

Needs a location

Handmade greeting cards are my passion/hobby/escape. All it takes is a few pieces of paper, embellishments and glue to make something creative and meaningful for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc. My cards are mostly scraplifted easy designs that come together fairly quickly. It'd be fun to host a small group (6 gals) at my house for those who would like to try their hand at this. Since we're coming up on the holiday scramble, I'm thinking the week of November 15th. I have everything you could possibly need to make five cards for $5. If you want to bring paper glue and small scissors, so much the better! Refreshments for the evening are on me.
