Let's join Starbucks Community Services and do a little volunteer work!
Description of volunteer effort:
Starbucks has partnered with Food Forward in efforts to reconnect our community. Volunteers will be picking oranges at the historic orchard on Cal State University Northridge's Campus. The fresh produce picked will be donated to local food pantrys- helping local individuals as well as families in need. Since 2011, our baristas have been volunteering with Food Forward and this April, in honor of our 3rd Global Month of Service, we invite you to join us and do the same.
**Clothing choices- Shoes should be closed toed and supportive. Sunglasses are reccomended as well as gloves. Also, sunblock is advised. There will be refreshments provided.
