This is an introduction to art journaling in a group, exploring processes and techniques used when making therapeutic art journal collages.
Art Journaling is the process of using simple art exercises to explore emotions and feelings. Art journaling allows you access to new knowledge and understanding about yourself. It can create a deeper sense of self-awareness and can change us in powerful ways. During sessions you are encouraged to use self-expression through collage, expressive drawing in an art journal or diary. The fun thing is you don’t have to be good at art and there are no rules during the making process.
All materials will be provided and a simple journal.
You will need to bring a packed lunch, coffee tea and biscuits will be provided - but please bring your own sealed hot drinks cup and/or water bottle (it’s safer when we are working or making art).
