Subject: [artinphoto] Opportunity to work on a Shoot with Photographer Chris Buck!

Art in Photoraphy Members:

First if you don't know Chris Buck - you need to : http://thechrisbuck.tumblr.com/  He is an very important photographer.

He is coming to do a musical group shoot in St. Jonesbury on April 27th and needs a local assistant to help on the shoot.  He is bringing another assistant from NYC so the technical requirements are minor (from Chris): It would be great if they had some familiarity with photo gear (I'll be using Profoto strobes and a Hasselblad medium format camera) - even knowing how to set up a C-stand is great - but, yes, enthusiasm and some ability to move stuff around would be very helpful.

You will need to get yourself to the shoot.  It is all day.  The job pays $225!!!!!  I would jump at this if I wasn't so busy with keeping the Darkroom Gallery going.

Chris was a juror for a previous show at the Darkroom Gallery.  He visited and gave a talk at St. Michaels College.  Based on the time he spent here - I can say that this is a great opportunity - very likely to be fun and educational.  Chris has a truly unique style and is quite charming!!!
