Story Collider Science Storytelling Show

We all grew up curious. Maybe we made toys out of magnets, explosions in the backyard, or applied the scientific method to our (statistically) significant other. Through winding paths, some of us even fell in love with science, and now we're set loose with expensive equipment and unanswered questions. We discovered hormones, we discovered ourselves, and oh boy did we pick up stories along the way.

The Story Collider is a national podcast that curates these stories about science. Over the past three years, Story Collider has worked with physicists, bartenders, and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists in major cities around the world. This October 21st their show comes to Pittsburgh, where five Carnegie Mellon students will share stories of extraordinary encounters with curiosity and the world.

This show is on the South Side at the Rex, which features a full-service bar. Tickets are $10, available in advance or at the door. Doors at 7, show at 8. We hope you'll join us for an evening of delightful and intimate stories!

I would like to help continue spur interest in exploration and curiosity (from other real life models in addition to myself and hubby!) for my Jr high and high school kids. Does anyone know if this would be an appropriate event/ venue for that age group?? THANKS for letting me know!!
