The 60th annual Three Rivers Arts Festival takes place during June 7-16, 2019 -- featuring many hundreds of visual artists, musicians, dance performers, etc. over a ten day period at dozens of locations throughout Point State Park, Gateway Center, and the Cultural District downtown. With over 95 hours of programming and a variety of activities for people of all ages, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
While this is a general posting for the entire 10-day festival, we'll also try to organize some specific Meetup events to check out artist booths in Point State Park and nearby Gateway Center -- as well as the free concerts and other performances.
We should all remember that people have different work schedules and commuting times to downtown, so not everyone can arrive at exactly the same time. So we'll try to incorporate some flexibility in choosing some festival activities and times for meeting on various festival dates as well as take steps to make it a bit easier for people to find the group.
For example, we're planning a Meetup for Monday night (6/10) where the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Brass will be performing. To RSVP, please visit https://www.meetup.com/Art-lovers/events/260268490/
And on Tuesday night (6/11), the group can try to gather at the Water Fountain inside Gateway Center near the Acoustic Stage at 7-7:15 PM.
Please note that we expect that at any given time during the festival, there could be anywhere from 5-40+ people from the Meetup enjoying the festivities -- although they'll be dispersed among thousands of people.
In general, you'll run into more Meetup members by walking around.
Please read the posted comments section below for some more ideas on where the group may be meeting at different times during the festival.
Of course as always, it is also fine if you prefer to attend the festival on your own with family/friends.

Parking Here is the ParkPGH website with real-time info on downtown parking garage availability http://parkpgh.org where you can also download apps, get garage availability via text messaging, etc. You can also call[masked].
In the case of inclement weather While many joke about the association of rain with the Three Rivers Arts Festival, we should also remember that there aren't many instances of ten consecutive days without any precipitation during any time of the year. So in any 10-day period, odds are that at least a few days will have some rain. But in case of heavy rain or bad weather, we'll let people know if any of the outdoor concerts may be cancelled.
Stay tuned for updates!
