Sri Sri Yoga For Health and Happiness
Sri Sri Yoga Series, focuses on incorporating authentic and holistic yoga as a daily practice. This series of classes will include the practice of physical postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation/deep relaxation (dhyana) and knowledge (gnyana) from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Preparation for a yoga class: For all sessions, please plan to arrive early enough to settle down on your yoga mat at least 5 minutes prior to the class start time. Hydrate well through the day. Avoid sugary snacks, soda, sugary sports drinks, caffeine, heavy/greasy meals for at least 2 hours prior to a yoga session. Yoga practice is done with a very light or empty stomach. Please time your meals accordingly on class days. Bring a yoga mat, a towel and water for the class. You could also bring a cushion and/or a back support if you need for meditation. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to stretch and sweat in. Materials that breath and wick away moisture is recommended. Feel free to bring blocks, straps, bolsters or any other props. During the session please make sure cellphones are turned off or in silent mode. About the Instructor: Anup Cheepi has been practicing breathing techniques and meditation since 1996 and has been volunteering with the Art of Living foundation for more than decade.He is certified Yoga teacher with 200 hours of Yoga teachers training from Sri Sri School of Yoga, affliated to Yoga Alliance and is very passionate about the science of Yoga and Ayurveda.He is a volunteer with the organization, facilitating the Happiness Program, Meditation, Youth Empowerment Seminars and Art Excel programs. Welcome to the Art of Living South Jersey! The Art of Living Foundation ( is a non-denominational, educational and humanitarian non-profit that aims to uplift society through courses that focus on strengthening the individual by improving personal well-being and cultivating human values. This group is open to people of ALL faiths and backgrounds who are interested in exploring the various options for a peaceful, happy, and healthy life.

The vast majority of our workshops and courses are organized by volunteers who are interested in sharing the approach and the benefits this non-profit has to offer in the realm of stress-reduction, meditation, life-skills, human values, productivity and spirituality. Our workshops and courses utilize yogic and meditation techniques that have been adapted for the time and space constraints of the modern world.

The Art of Living Foundation ( offers programs to uncover the strength, peace, and joy that lie at the core of every human being. By nurturing the spirit and compassion of every individual, the Foundation seeks to help build a global society that is free of stress, violence, and misery - and full of service, wisdom, and celebration.
