The Getty Center is an amazing location for photography with its art, architecture, gardens and one of the best panoramic views of LA. Sunday, Nov 13 will be especially good for us image makers because the (almost) full moon rises just as the sun is setting! It’s going to be a fantastic and fun photo event. You should join us. At 2:00 a Getty docent will take our group on a private tour focused on the gardens and architecture of the Center.
If you can’t make the tour, meet us at 4:00 when we will all get together for a few minutes before we unleash our camera-wielding horde on the grounds of the Getty. Moonrise is at 4:40pm and sunset happens about 10 minutes later. We can keep shooting until 5:30 when the Center closes.
Exact meeting times and spots will be announced shortly, but sign up now to reserve your spot!
NOTE: Unfortunately, the Getty doesn’t allow tripods or any extra equipment, but we will cover some tips to help you make great photos anyways!
