What we're about

Public Group

Art After Dark is an uninstructed, long pose figure painting and drawing workshop founded in 2009 in Pasadena.

Workshops are 3 hours, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Doors open at 5:30 for set up.

Currently we are at the Women's City Club of Pasadena, and we have NO equipment, so please bring your own. There will be a cash bar available, however! Please note that we will be working upstairs, and there is no elevator at this location. Free parking at 165 N Madison Ave! Walk west through the parking lot toward Oakland to the front of WCC; enter through the main door and head up the stairs.

We try to mix it up a bit: sometimes we have costumed models in fun illustrative themes...and sometimes we have a classic nude figure.... But it's always one long 3 hour pose for painting or detailed drawing. You can sign up here and get automatic e-mail updates and reminders for what type of model and theme we have planned each session.
