Pinterest for Artist Business Owners by Kareismatic
Everyone -- bloggers, visual artists, photographers, chefs, designers, creative agencies, retailers, and startups -- are realizing the potential of promoting their brands, building communities, and ultimately driving sales through Pinterest.
Bring your laptop or tablet and I will show how you can use Pinterest to strengthen your brand including how to utilize the power of your pinboard to create a strong brand “story” and promote your brand lifestyle and to reach new audiences. You will learn the dos and don’ts of pinning, uncover new avenues to build your social media presence and better your business. This is a hands on training that will improving your business’ Pinterest identity as we do live “pinning” work in a brainstorm session.
You’ll learn how to:
· Utilize the power of your pinboard to create a strong brand “story” and promote your brand
· Set up proper boards with searchable tiles and descriptions
· Identify and clearly articulate who your target audience is in and find your Pinterest community
· Source “pin-worthy” and “repinnable” imagery
· Find Pinterest business partners and groups
· Write the copy that enhances your imagery and story
You’ll learn all these skills by creating, perfecting, and managing your own Pinterest pinboard. We’ll work collaboratively to give each other feedback and suggestions throughout the class.
About Kareismatic: Karen Horrigan is a social media strategist and business consultant who is dedicated to educating and inspiring you to grow your business through social media marketing. She has been teaching social media classes for Forest Hills and Rockford Community Programs for the past 5 years and each class includes up to date handouts and notes on the latest changes.
Her work with the Senior Learning Center for the past 4 years showcases her patience with students new to using computers. Karen's Marketing Degree blends well with her hands on social media training because she goes beyond the basics of knowing your way around a social media page. Her experience training and building social media marketing plans range from individuals to entrepreneurs and corporations. Most importantly, her trainings are not a one size fits all but are customized for each class.
Note: Karen normally charges $45 per person and she is willing to give us a huge break since we are a non-profit group. Her desire is to empower you to add charisma to your social media; to attract loyal followers, build your reputation as a leader in your field and stand out from the crowd online.
