Opening Reception for MOCA's traditional March exhibit:

EROTICA

Yes!! MOCA's inviolable March theme WILL happen this year--in cyber-space, AND at Our Founder's new base of operations:

Light Street Gallery in Baltimore. (Please note location! See "Where is this Light Street Gallery?? (http://www.meetup.com/Artists-Models/pages/Where_is_this_Light_Street_Gallery%3F%3F)" for general information.)

And we WILL HAVE THE OPENING RECEPTION,

• at the Light Street Gallery (for detailed information about public transit--this event only--see "Light Street--there and back, Friday evening (http://www.meetup.com/Artists-Models/pages/Light_Street--there_and_back%2C_Friday_evening)")

• Friday, March 7, from 6:00 PM to whenever.

Your Humble Servant, the Organizer (Merely the Messenger) is informed that there will be much figurative and nude art on display, including some by the late Richard Takeuchi--works that have not been exhibited before.

News Flash: BELLY DANCING! Our Founder has just announced that this event will feature a performance of Belly Dancing by Mhaira Basilah. The performance should begin at around 7 PM.

• ALSO, clear your calendars and watch this space for the CLOSING RECEPTION on Friday, March 28 (ALSO from 6:00 PM to whenever; ALSO at Light Street Gallery).

YHS, tO (MtM) understands that the Closing Reception, at least, will be "wide open, as those in the past," implying the likelihood of nudity, body painting, etc. YHS, tO (MtM) is unclear as to whether this will apply at the Opening Reception; YHS, tO (MtM) will post updates as he receives further information from Our Founder.

Another News Flash!: Your Humble Servant has been informed by Our Founder that this party WILL be wide open in the cherished tradition of MOCA receptions connected with nude art. Therefore, there is the possibility of live nudity at this event. The usual points regarding photography (simply put, "No MEANS No") apply.
