 a-ing". Discover how to look for images that hold resonance for you.\n\n2.
 ) Individually create 2-3 of our own mandalas. Pick your spot(s) and creat

DESCRIPTION:Art Santa Fe\nCome join me\, Saturday\, April 7th \, for the f
 irst in this year's Plein Air Mandala series. Come enjoy three and a half 
 hours of creative exploration in the historic town of Lamy\, where we'll g
 ather pencils and markers (or whatever YOUR creative medium is) and explor
 e the process of creating plein air mandalas. Whether it's an graffiti'd r
 ailroad car\, an weathered church steeple\, an impossibly crystal blue sky
 \, all these things hold unique energy and significance. Mandalas can help
  us capture that energy and the unique meaning each image holds for us\n\n
 In this workshop we will:\n\n1.) Learn the basics behind plein air "mandal
 a-ing". Discover how to look for images that hold resonance for you.\n\n2.
 ) Individually create 2-3 of our own mandalas. Pick your spot(s) and creat
 e your mandalas in the medium/style of your choosing.\n\n3.) Come together
  in group to explore/discuss our creations. Return to the group where we w
 ill have group and individual discussion as well as writing exercises gear
 ed specifically to help you explore the meaning and messages your mandalas
  have for you.\n\n4.) Learn how to further use your mandala(s) as a tool f
 or meditation. I'll send you home with further tips and techniques for usi
 ng your unique mandalas to deepen your inner exploration.\n\nMarkers and p
 aper will be provided\, or you can bring your own favorite art supplies.\n
