Come to the November Monthly meeting of the Coastal Arts Guild of CT meet and network with other local creative people.
This months challenge is inspired by the Stratford Library's "Art and Text Show" Create artwork which combines visual imagery with letterforms, words and phrases. 2D submissions can be paintings, collage, photography, graphics and design. 3D works can be made from any material. You might even create a piece on a 6x6 for Artists for World peace. Any medium.
If you want to submit your artwork to the library show (https://tinyurl.com/art-and-text) max size allowed is 24" x 36". Be sure to submit your work by the 3rd week of November.
Christmas in July's challenge is still being accepted. Create an ornament for a table-top tree we will donate to the Celebration of Trees, to benefiting the Ronald McDonald's House. Mini canvases, painted shells, fabric creations, any medium. Make as many as you like. Please make ready to hang on this small tree.
Members can share up to 3 pieces of art, please be brief, two minutes each.
Guests and non-members are allowed a one time opportunity to share their work.

Don't forget about Figure Drawing at the Firehouse Gallery on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays 6:30-9 pm.
Long pose Figure Drawing begins September 14th, 2nd and 4th Saturdays 9am-12pm.
