Qigong is a simple yet powerful practice that will increase your energy, well-being, and peace of mind. The gentle, rhythmic movements of Qigong reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system. It has also been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions.
Your teacher will be Craig Phillips. Craig is Taoist/Buddhist and had the great good fortune of being initiated into Buddhism by The Dalai Lama back in 1997,
I know that many of you are looking forward to the exciting possibilities and opportunity to now practice outdoors (where Qigong belongs!)
For those of you who are new to Qigong, or to those who have not practiced in awhile, this is a perfect opportunity for you to begin your practice with a fresh start!
Please bring a small blanket or towel with you, as we will be meditating after class, while lying down or sitting on the sand. Also feel free to bring a lawn chair if you feel you may need to sit down at time
Qigong class will be at 6:45 pm at lifeguard tower #11 which is at Beach and PCH.
I will keep my cell phone on in case anyone has a hard time finding the location. Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have.
I look forward to beginning this new chapter in our Qigong journey, a journey that always arrives in every moment at the destination of health, well being, peace, and of course, CHI!!
