There's a parking lot on Broadway but its expensive, about 2 blocks from Woolsey Hall. Street parking might be easier on a less busy street, Grove easier than Elm, wall easier than College, Hillhouse easier than Grove, etc -less traffic might make it easier to park slowly without stress.

Wouldn't park there on Broadway, it could cost you close to 30.00 for that time span. Check out the Yale lots in the link provided. They are free to public after 4:30. Lot 78 is up past woolsey Hall turn right off off grove onto ashmun street just past the cemetery. The lot is ahead on the left. That's if you are ok with walking alone in the dark. If you get there early enough you should be able to park street side on grove without much difficulty.

Before I buy my tickets, a question: I'll be there with my 16yo son, we almost always sit in 2nd balcony for astounding sounding, but (this being my first MeetUp event) DO WE SIT AS A GROUP? I see Cathy our Organizer bought 1st balcony.... And will there be a gathering AFTER the concert to sip a drink (tea or wine, I don't care) and talk about the music? That would mitigate any dispersal during the concert as people pick their favorite seats....

Yes your right about the sound, it gets rather hot up there though. We meet in the lobby and most of us sit together, first balcony. but some people do have a favorite spot and choose to sit elsewhere, what ever you prefer, After we can walk over to blue state coffee to gather and have coffee, cocoa....and discuss...
