Arts, Culture and Technology at 3DEA

From: user 7.

This is Enrique from Openhouse. I attended the Arts Tech: 3D printing event at Eyebeam last week through the Arts, Culture and Technology Meetup group, which was awesome. You guys gathered a lot of important information in one night.

We're currently running a 3D Printing Pop Up with Shapeways, Ultimaker and more than a dozen local creators, makers and thinkers.  I wanted to invite the members of Arts, CUlture and Technology to a few 3DEA workshops and presentations coming up. I've created a nice discount code and would love to have you guys up at the 3DEA Pop Up this week.

Heidi Lee, the winner of the Met's Costume Institute Accessory Design Competition, is joined by bespoke Brooklyn shop and cufflink experts GothamSmith, Langoliers' Pamela Lou and new media artist Anthony Tammaro. Renowned jewelry maker and Columbia adjunct professor Kevin Wei leads a TinkerCAD bootcamp. TinkerCAD is a free, hands-on Web-based virtual modeling program ideally suited for 3D-printing. You'll also get to know the many 3D-printing service bureaus and personal 3D-printers available to you.
