Seminar on Nik Software.

The ANMPAS and InSight-NM proudly announces a no costseminar on Nik Software.

There is no registration required, just come to the Southwestern University of Visual Arts (SUVA) on Sat. March 9th at 9am.

Nik Software, a division of Google, along with the photographic arts shows ANMPAS and InSight, is pleased to announce a workshop on March 9th, "Putting the Fun Back into Post-Processing." The workshop presenter will be award-winning photographer, Sandra Corless. Sandra is known for her workshops with easy-to-follow instruction and innovative ideas.

The workshop will be geared to the individual who is just learning post-processing. It will also be appropriate for those not already familiar with Nik products. In addition, advanced techniques for individuals who would like to continue to enhance their skills using plug-in filters will be presented. The class will cover the following topics:

1) Understanding the interface of the Nik software.

2) Using the Nik plug-ins as your post-processing workflow

3) Understanding the commonly misunderstood Nik Control Points

4) Creating photographic art using Nik plug-ins

Sandra will be demonstrating the use of the software during the presentation.


The class will be March 9th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Southwest University of Visual Arts located at 5000 Marble NE, Albuquerque NM 87110. There will be no charge for this event.
