Hi Folks, Three of us on the organizing committee (Marion, Tim, and Myself) met with Vicky at the theater last night and signed an agreement to use the space and prepared further for the show. It is really, really, really official now!
Here are some notes PRIMARILY for the organizing committee - but Im going to post them to the Discussion board so al our members can keep track of what's up with this monumental effort...
- Any artworks submitted to the selection committee that might be controversial must be approved through Vicky @ Aux Dog. Marion (or Crista if you cant reach Marion for any reason) will coordinate this as part of the submission chain.
- The deadline to RSVP is approaching quickly, 4 DAYS! Once you RSVP you will get an email from Marion with a set of questions - please reply promptly.
- Then artists have untilJan 18 to send in a jpg image of their work(s).
- You may request up to Jan 23 to submit a photo if needed
- We need or would likea brief description of your work and how you perceive it relates to the concept of "At What Price..."
- We would also like a BRIEF 50 word bio on yourself as an artist and contact info for visitors in case they would like to purchase a painting/piece of work.
- We will accept delivery of artwork to the theater for hanging on [TENTATIVELY] Sunday January 5 @ 2-6pm AND THEN Wed January 8th 4-8pm. Please check the web site or call Crista @[masked] before you come to verify these times.
- Crista and Scott, or Ryder, or another co-organizer... will be at the theater on January 5th to hang the last picture rail and we will need 2 or 3 additional volunteers (who have experiance hanging art on line from a picture rail or similar hardware!) to begin hanging artwork for the show.
- Repeat the above for January 8th - need 2 more volunteers. Call or Email Crista through the site. Include your email and cell #. 
- Tyanne is working on securing FOOD DONATIONS. If anyone has a prospective food (prepared food) donor please contact her through the web site or our email list if you are a co-organizer. (I don't want to publish her email here without asking her)
- Tim Anderson is working on promotions and press release. If you have any leads, suggestions, or special access please contact him through:  www.cygnetpress.com
- Marion is in search of WINE DONATIONS and Crista is working on the legal permit to serve it.
- If anyone knows an appropriate MUSICIAN who is LOW KEY and would like to play for donations for the show, please contact anyone onthe organizing crew or Crista.
