Visioning Arts and Minds Summer Mural Event

This July, on a street in Portland, Oregon, artists and everyday folk will come together to paint a mural on an ugly wall. We have this wild idea that we can use our creative talents to spotlight Oregon's broken criminal justice system and inspire change.

Here's the vision: an all-day block party with activities, stories, demonstrations, and entertainment... The main event: we're painting a powerful mural and everyone's invited to help.

Arts and Minds is a volunteer-based collective that involves liberty-loving people in art activated reform. We make lasting artwork, learn practical ideas for small actions that spark reform, and experience the strength of voluntary cooperation.

Help us make this dream a reality. Our first meeting is this Thursday at Zoiglhaus Brewery. Come have a drink, get some eats, and learn how you can participate in our latest project.

The venue for this event has been changed due to large number of people interested in attending. We are now meeting at Zoiglhaus in the Lents neighborhood. If you can't make it to this meeting, do not fear. I'm working on finding a location for a second informational meeting next week. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I look forward to meeting you all!

Theme Idea !! Why are some European Countries pulling wi-fi out of their schools?

Americans are always the last to know where greed "trumps" Human life. Consider this statement by former MI5 military intelligence microwave weapons expert, Barrie Trower: "Wi-Fi radiation is a weapons frequency.  It can only do harm....
“...As stated by University Researchers, Government Scientists and International Scientific Advisors; a minimum of 57.7% of school girls exposed to low-level microwave radiation (Wi-fi) are at risk of suffering stillbirth, fetal abnormalities or genetically damaged children, when they give birth. Genetic damage may pass to successive generations...” Barrie Trower Wi-fi utilizes “The most lethal frequency to animal tissue..." Dr. Magda Havas, Associate Professor of Environmental & Resource Studies at Trent University, Peterborough, Canada where she teaches and does research on the biological effects of environmental contaminants.

The theme has already been picked David, it's Mass Incarceration in the U.S., Ginger talks about it in her Youtube link below.

Thanks Matt for chiming in. Though that's interesting David, our theme has been decided. Our art will tackle issues of reform that are already currently on the table here in Oregon.

I am away on 16th but very interested in participating. I can wield a brush! If someone could take minutes and pass along action items, I can help with putting this together ;) Solidarity in Resistance!
