Join Chip Clouse, former Education and Outreach Director for the American Birding Association, at Lowell Ponds State Wildlife Area for a bird walk to close out the fall. Expect to see migrant waterfowl in abundance, gulls, sparrows and hopefully bald eagles.
Bring binoculars if you have them, a few extras will be on hand. Dress for the weather, bring water and a snack.
Meet at the west parking lot at Lowell Boulevard and W. 55th Place. Register in advance, registration closes at midnight the evening before the program.
If you would like, we can meet for lunch afterwards. The Denver Post rates Dubbel Dutch at 4974 Lowell Boulevard as having the "Best Denver Sandwich" and is known for its sandwiches, salads, lattes, and cheese platters. Just south of the intersection at 50th & Lowell Boulevard on the east side of the street, it is an orange building with light blue trim with a patio near the street.
