TYPE: Walk & Talk | PACE: Stop & Go/Conversational | TERRAIN: Some trails are paved, and some are on dirt or gravel surfaces. Hikes are stroller friendly but they are not suited for dogs | DISTANCE: Approximately 4 miles
Depart from Standley Lake Library parking lot. Hike north on Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail to the lake, then west on Standley Lake Regional Park trails, and return to our starting point. Most of this hike will be on unpaved trails.
Your Walk Leader: Mark is a community volunteer and councilman at the City of Arvada. Schedule and Meeting Location: We will depart from Standley Lake Library parking lot. We will depart around 9 am and will return approximately 11 am.
-This is stroller friendly, but not suited for dogs.
-Please plan to use the restroom before you arrive.
Comfortable socks & shoes (pref. NON cotton socks!)
Light backpack w/water and snack foods (almonds, bars, fruit)
Bring many (thinner) layers depending on anticipated temperature and light rain gear just in case.
