THERE ARE NO UPCOMING MEETUPS UNTILL SPRING OF "2017" This MEETUP is not accepting new members until Spring of "2017". NOTICE TO ALL PERSONS WANTING TO JOIN THIS MEETUP GROUP. This is a great opportunity for MEN and WOMEN to play doubles, and mixed doubles. Our MEN and WOMEN PLAYERS are (2.5 to 3.5+) levels. This is your opportunity play without the pressure that comes with a league. There are no concerns about ladder results. You still get challenged without the worries. Be sure you answer all the questions in your profile when applying for membership. ADDING PLAYERS IN THE FUTURE IS DEPENDENT ON PLAYER TURNOVER. This is a Fun Group for (2.5-3.5+) Level Players. We play by the rules of the game. We keep score and play sets. Doubles is preferred. We play singles when space is available. We try to organize the games according to player level. You must be an intermediate to advanced player to participate in play. You must be able to serve, hit ground strokes, volleys, and overheads with reasonable accuracy. Our more advanced players can use spin and slice on strokes. This group is not where you learn to play tennis. If you are not physically fit to play for 1 & 1/2+ hours, do not join this group.
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS AN IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT FOR All MEMBERS SIGNING UP TO PLAY AT THEIR FIRST MEETUP. FIRST TIMERS are required to list their tennis experience level in their MEMBER profiles. The experience level ranges for this group are ( 2.5 or 3.0 or 3.5 ) ( use only 3.5+ for all higher levels ). MEMBERS can do a self-rate, using any of the guidelines that are currently available. The level that each MEMBER provides will be used by the Meetup Organizers for organizing play in this Meetup. Playing within their level is in keeping with the Protocol of this Tennis Meetup. MEMBERS rated below 2.5, or beginners do not meet the experience level required. Co-operation of players with the Meetup Organizers is essential. A refusal to co-operate will be cause for removal as a Meetup member. This Meetup is for adult players only.
A NO SHOW PLAYER hurts everyone that signs up to play. THIS MEETUP HAS A FEATURE THAT TRACKS ATTENDANCE. A NO SHOW HABIT IS A REASON TO REMOVE THAT PLAYER AS A MEMBER.
ALL MEMBERS have a feature available to post their photo. Your Organizers require you to use this feature. Your photo helps everyone, and you to remember each other better. Group photos are not acceptable. A single photo of you is acceptable.
Members playing in a Meetup do so at their own risk.
We welcome all qualified players. THIS MEETUP IS CLOSED TO NEW MEMBERS UNTILL SPRING OF "2017" I AM NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT ANY NEW MEMBERS UNTILL SPRING. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN JOINING THIS GROUP.
