What we're about

For over 20 years Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus has been sharing its voice with Asheville and the greater Western North Carolina area. Starting with just a few gay men the chorus continues to grow reaching an ever-increasing diverse audience. Each year the chorus partners with a variety of other organizations to promote fellowship, support missions and build community. As ambassadors of music we know the effect song can have and it’s universal understanding. Known for its music Asheville is a thriving scene for artist. We are happy to have included some of our local musicians in our performances. We are on hiatus due to the pandemic, but hope to start rehearsing again in January of 2021.

Our Vision:
The Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus claims our role as the transforming and transcending choral voice for our LGBTQ and affirming community.
Our Mission:
The Asheville Gay Men's Chorus entertains, advocates and connects community through choral excellence.
