Tai Chi for health is a way to have inner harmony, balance and peace. Tai Chi is slow and you will be asked to notice and check in with your body. Your awareness honors how you feel and then it is about you applying what you learn as you are ready and willing. This is a modified Sun form, designed for your health and inner harmony. One hour. Donation. Please wear low or flat shoes and loose, comfortable clothing. Water is available or bring a bottle with you. You can use a chair if not able to stand for a long period of time.
Attitude: Tai Chi is a practice. It is best when you leave everything at the door and be fully present.
Class: Arrive about 5 - 10 minutes early. give yourself time to get settled and ready to move. If you have questions, ask. If something does not feel right, stop and tell your teacher. Be respectful of others, do not touch another without their prior permission. This is a safe place of peace and harmony.
There will be a 15-minute break after this class, and if you wish you may stay for A Course of Love - book study.
