6 To 8 Mile Hike To Two Waterfalls.

  • 5 days ago · 11:30 AM

This is a moderate loop hike to with some wet rocks and roots to climb over. There are some water crossing and a few steep climbs.  We can have a snack at the top of one waterfall and might safely climb down another. We can meet at the Bilo in Pisgah Forest on the side Pizza Hut is at 11:30 to figure carpool from there. Then it's like 9 mile drive just past the Fish Hatchery to the trailhead.
Here is more details.

There's just no way I can make it down there in time. Gracie and I will have to be a late scratch. Also sorry for the last minute exit. Have a great hike, all!

It will be 56 degrees and partly cloudy with no rain tomorrow so it will be a perfect day for a hike. I will see whoever is at Bilo parking lot on the Pizza Hut side at 11:30 and plan on leaving there at 11:45.

    Is this a 6 to 8 mile hike… Or a 4.2? There's just conflicting information

Yes - it's about 1 or so from the loop and takes you to Shuck Ridge Creek Falls.
